My favorite teaching moment is : While teaching art several years ago, the kids were working with clay, and many of them were struggling to get it to look like the animals they were trying to make. One kid had made something really realistic and the others were amazed and asked him how. He began to explain and give them help. It was great to see him blossom with his art since he had a hard time academically.
