Extended Care Program
Saint Frances Cabrini offers a before and after school extended care program where students enjoy a variety of activities while being in a supervised and age-appropriate environment. The extended care program is run by the same faculty members who assist the childcare during the regular school hours, and since it is on campus, the environment and experience are all too familiar to the children. As a result, the experience of going to extended care becomes a fun extension of a regular day with time to socialize, explore new activities, play, and even complete homework assignments in order to free up time for when the children return home.
The extended care program provides a variety of activities, which include outdoor play, arts and crafts, puzzles, board games, imaginative play, and creative activities and projects. Children in first grade and above are assisted by SFC qualified staff members to complete homework, as needed. The extended care program always provides a healthy snack.
For grades five-eight, we offer an exclusive program located in the junior high section of campus which is supervised by SFC staff. Upper-grade students have access to technology and targeted homework assistance.
Extended care begins daily at 7:00 AM and the after-school program runs until 6:00 PM. The program only charges an affordable rate of $7 per hour on a pay as needed basis with no minimum commitments requirements.
